The center provides a safe environment. No need for a rescue boat, the water is maximum chest deep throughout the whole lagoon and our instructors are always on the lookout, in case anybody needs help getting back.

With the luxury of having our windsurf centre situated directly on the spot in Sicily, changing the equipment no matter which rental option you have chosen, is a piece of cake. If the wind drops or gets stronger, or you simply want to try a different board or sail, let us know which board and sail you like to have and our professional service staff will help you to set it up the way you like it. The windsurf instructors and staff are also happy to give you tips and recommendations of nearby spots.
COVER PLUS
As a rental guest, you´re generally responsible for the gear you rent from us. However, with our COVER PLUS package you don´t need to worry about any damages occuring to the equipment you rented.
Everything will be covered !
Just let us know what needs to be repaired and take another set of gear and go to the water again 🙂
However COVER PLUS does not cover negligence, theft, loss or intentional damage to equipment or damage due to navigation outside the spot.

Our centers are equipped with the DUOTONE range to ensure you have top-quality equipment for your time on the water. To guarantee you have the windsurf board that best suits your needs during your stay, we offer a Fixed Board System along with maximum flexibility in sail selection according to the wind conditions.
Choose the board that you prefer to use most frequently during your visit as your fixed board. However, you can still opt for a different board model or volume from the selection available at the center.
If you're unsure about which model to reserve, you don’t need to worry—just leave the box for the fixed board unticked, and you’ll be able to choose from the pool board options available on-site.

Lo Stagnone Lagoon, located between Trapani and Marsala and bordered by the "Isola Grande" island, is a paradise for watersports lovers. This amazing spot in Sicily, Italy, features ultra-flat, shallow waters, making it perfect for beginners to learn and freestylers to perform tricks. Spanning around 7 kilometers in length and 3 kilometers in width, Lo Stagnone is one of Europe’s largest shallow water lagoons, with a depth that increases only toward the south, offering ideal conditions for kitesurfing, windsurfing, and wing foiling.
With top-quality Duotone kitesurfing, windsurfing, wing foiling, and stand-up paddle equipment, the center provides professional lessons for all skill levels in your favorite watersports.

WIND
Lo Stagnone Lagoon sees about 300 windy days a year, with peak season from May to September/October, driven by thermal winds. Winds mainly come from northwest (Mistral), northeast (Grecale), and southeast (Scirocco), ranging from 14-20 knots. Summer temperatures average 30°C air and 23-25°C water, with winds strengthening in the afternoon.
WAVES
Lo Stagnone is a flat spot with shallow water, waves can only be found an hour south, with the right forecast.
HOW TO GET TO LO STAGNONE ?
The easiest way to travel to Stagnone lagoon is by plane: Trapani (TPS) airport sits 7 minutes from the spot. Else, Palermo (PMO) airport is 1 hour and a half from the spot (organized transfers are available). If you are travelling with a car or campervan, you can easily drive to Naples and then hop on a ferry to Palermo (10 hours, leaving in the evening and arriving early morning).
