Wingsurf Lessons PROGRAM
At the ION CLUB we offer a wide range of different Wing Surf lessons. No matter if youĀ“re a complete beginner, without prior experience in any kind of Surf Sport before, or a Windsurfer, Kitesurfer or Surfer who likes to learn this amazing new sport.
Beginner lessons are actually very similar to Windsurf Beginner lessons. Wing Surf Students start on the same Board as Windsurfers and just trade the sail for a wing. After that the learning objectives for Beginners are the same as for our Windsurf Students and after only a couple of hours you will be able to ride by yourself.
For all the more experienced riders we offer high standard, Wing Foil lessons. In small groups of maximum 2 people per instructor we teach you how to fly safely, jibe or even jump with your Wing Foil Gear.

ION CLUB Risco del Paso provides the latest equipment from DUOTONE and FANATIC.
Wings and boards are specially geared to beginners’ instruction. It goes without saying that we use the most up-to-date safety systems, and our experienced and fully certified instructors teach wingsurfing in an environment characterised by a maximum of safety, allowing you to learn the sport without danger or frustration.

A safety tower at Risco del Paso Playa Sotavento is always occupied by a lifeguard looking over the windsufers during opening hours, and able to act immediately in case of any emergency. The safety team is ready all times to attend rescues with the jetski or the zodiac. Nevertheless, we would like to underline that the spot at Risco del Paso Playa Sotavento has offshore winds and therefore every windsurfer and kitesurfer should act with due diligence to prevent dangerous situations. Offshore winds are risky and demand that you should assess your sailing abilities honestly before going out in such conditions.
Flexibility
Booking a lesson online is always a tricky thing to do ā we know. Determining which course you actually need, without being on site, on the water and trying is very difficult.Ā
So, donāt worry! No matter which course you pre-book with us. If during the lesson you realise, that another course would be better suited for you, we will always change your booking to the best course available to match your needs.

ION CLUB Risco del Paso
La hermosa playa natural de Risco del Paso en Fuerteventura se encuentra a siete kilĆ³metros al Sur de Costa Calma. En 2013, ION CLUB abriĆ³ una escuela de windsurf y kitesurf allĆ.
Ā Los huĆ©spedes pueden tomar el servicio de transporte regular y gratuito entre el centro de Risco del Paso y Costa Calma. Solo unos pocos lugares en el mundo ofrecen muchas condiciones de surf diferentes en un solo lugar.
AquĆ, en el centro, ubicado en una gran playa de arena, aguas poco profundas seguras y viento durante todo el aƱo, lo que hace de Risco del Paso un lugar Ćŗnico.

VIENTO FUERTEVENTURA
Las colinas justo detrĆ”s de la playa de Risco del Paso Playa de Sotavento aceleran la fuerza y direcciĆ³n del viento. La direcciĆ³n es norte a noroeste y sopla offshore de la costa. Particularmente en los meses de verano el viento es bastante fuerte y muy confiable, pero tambiĆ©n en primavera y otoƱo hay muy buenas condiciones que hacen que un viaje de windsurf o kitesurf valga la pena en este periodo.
OLAS FUERTEVENTURA
Las olas de izquierdas pueden alcanzar hasta dos metros de altura. Las olas giran en direcciĆ³n a la playa debido al gran banco de arena que divide la laguna de el mar abierto en forma de bahĆa. Por lo tanto hay fantĆ”sticas condiciones de waveriding especialmente para principiantes. No hay rocas ni piedras que perturben su sesiĆ³n, solo arena pura.
ĀæCĆMO LLEGAR A RISCO DEL PASO?
Desde el aeropuerto de Fuerteventura
Ā
El trayecto desde el aeropuerto de Fuerteventura hasta Costa Calma dura aproximadamente 1 hora, hasta Esquinzo alrededor de 1 hora y 40 minutos (aproximadamente 100 km). Desde el aeropuerto, conduzca por la FV-2 hacia Morro Jable y Jandia. El ION CLUB Center en Costa Calma estĆ” ubicado justo en la playa frente al SBH Costa Calma Palace y el Monica Beach Hotel. Si viaja con un coche de alquiler y quiere llegar desde Costa Calma a Risco del Paso, conduzca por FV-2 en direcciĆ³n a Morro Jable a 72 kilĆ³metros de "Risco del Paso", allĆ va a la izquierda por un pequeƱo camino de tierra hacia el paraĆso. - El viaje dura unos 20 minutos. Si viajas desde Esquinzo y quieres llegar a Risco del Paso, debes conducir por FV-2 en direcciĆ³n a Jandia, luego allĆ ir a lo largo de un pequeƱo camino de tierra ...
