Antoine and Estelle opened The Good Life Lodge in 2021 after two years of construction. Located just a 10-minute walk from the city center, this eco-friendly lodge draws inspiration from the authentic beauty and cultural diversity of Mauritius. Their goal is to offer an alternative to standardized resorts, focusing on a passion for travel and environmental preservation.
Since our opening, we, at ION CLUB, have been working closely with them, sharing a common vision of green tourism centered on well-being. Our teams also enjoy the delicious dishes prepared by The Good Life Mauritius!

Located on the north coast of Mauritius, between the Cap Malheureux church and Anse la Raie beach, The Good Life Lodge is nestled in a garden that offers an intimate and relaxing atmosphere. This eco-lodge in Mauritius provides a unique and authentic experience focused on the well-being of both body and mind, with activities such as yoga, kitesurfing, diving, boat trips on the lagoon, and beach barbecues. The ambiance is calm, non-smoking lodge, and reserved for adults. The Good Life Lodge uses natural and local toiletries and offers reusable water bottles and a shared refrigerator to minimize the ecological footprint. This eco-friendly accommodation reflects a commitment to green tourism.

The restaurant offers breakfast featuring 100% natural smoothies, detox juices, kefir, avocado toasts, buddha bowls, and fluffy pancakes, all homemade. The cuisine is healthy, using fresh local ingredients, with many vegetarian and vegan options available.
The menu caters perfectly to watersports vacationers, offering avocado toasts, colorful poke bowls, balanced buddha bowls, gourmet vegetarian burgers, and Benedict buns. The restaurant is open from 8 AM to 3 PM for breakfast, brunch, and lunch. For dinner, there are a lot of dining options around the hotel with complimentary free pick-up service available.

Further away from Le Morne and the Riu Turquoise hotel, but a must-see if you are in Mauritius is the wonderful Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam Botanical Garden. It is located in Pamplemousses, in the north of the island.
For geology enthusiasts, take the time to visit the Terre des 7 Couleurs in Chamarel. This geological formation creates a hill with gullied slopes. There are 7 colors (red, brown, purple, green, blue, violet and yellow).

At 1h15 of Anse La Raie is Ile aux Cerfs, the perfect excursion if you want to combine paradise and relaxation! It’s one of the most beautiful things to do in Mauritius … a whole day is needed to enjoy it to the maxuimum.
For the more solitary among you there are plenty of waterfalls and beautiful beaches to be seen all over the island, with fewer crowds than in the more touristy areas.
The nightlife in the north of the island is lively, offering a wide variety of bars, restaurants, and nightclubs.
