WingFOIL Lessons SICILY DPC
At Duotone Pro Center Sicily they offer several types of wingfoiling lessons, and it is possible to learn wingfoiling whether you are a beginner in board sports or an experienced windsurfer, kitesurfer or surfer. Courses for beginners are very similar to those for beginner windsurfers. The wingfoiling students start on a large board holding a wing in their hands, rather than a boom and sail. After that the learning objectives for beginners are the same as for windsurfers, and after just a few hours you will be able to ride on your own. For the more experienced they offer courses with more challenging objectives. In semi-private lessons with 2 people per instructor, they teach you to fly safely, to jibe and even to jump.

Sicily Duotone Pro Center safety is an absolute priority! Trainees on wingfoiling courses are constantly supervised by their instructor. As for the safety team, they are always ready if needed, as is their rescue boat.

Let´s get started!
For all of you who never tried Wing, – or Windsurfing before. This is your course! Here you will learn the very basics of Wing Surfing. Our Instructors will teach you how to handle the Wing effectivley on a non-foiling Board and prepare yourself for the first flights on your Wing Foil Board.
Requirements
Participants need to be able to swim for at least 15 minutes in open water. No experiences in any other Surfing Sport needed.

After handling your Wing is not a problem anymore and you´re able to navigate safely on a beginner Board with your Wing, it´s time to enter the next level. Our Instructors will introduce you in safe and efficient way to Wing FOILING. The goal of this lesson is to lift your Board out of the water, grow Wings and fly:)
For all experienced Windsurfers and Kitesurfers, this course can be booked even without having prior Wing experience. For al the others, make sure to check out our Wing Surf Discovery courses first.

DUOTONE PRO CENTER SICILY
Lo Stagnone Lagoon, located between Trapani and Marsala and bordered by the "Isola Grande" island, is a paradise for watersports lovers. This amazing spot in Sicily, Italy, features ultra-flat, shallow waters, making it perfect for beginners to learn and freestylers to perform tricks. Spanning around 7 kilometers in length and 3 kilometers in width, Lo Stagnone is one of Europe’s largest shallow water lagoons, with a depth that increases only toward the south, offering ideal conditions for kitesurfing, windsurfing, and wing foiling.
With top-quality Duotone kitesurfing, windsurfing, wing foiling, and stand-up paddle equipment, the center provides professional lessons for all skill levels in your favorite watersports.
BEST PERIODS

WIND
Lo Stagnone Lagoon sees about 300 windy days a year, with peak season from May to September/October, driven by thermal winds. Winds mainly come from northwest (Mistral), northeast (Grecale), and southeast (Scirocco), ranging from 14-20 knots. Summer temperatures average 30°C air and 23-25°C water, with winds strengthening in the afternoon.
WAVES
Lo Stagnone is a flat spot with shallow water, waves can only be found an hour south, with the right forecast.
COMMENT SE RENDRE À LO STAGNONE?
Le moyen le plus simple de se rendre au lagon de Stagnone est l’avion : l’aéroport de Trapani (TPS) se trouve à 7 minutes du spot. Sinon, l’aéroport de Palerme (PMO) est à 1 heure et demie du spot (des transferts organisés sont disponibles). Si vous voyagez en voiture ou en van, vous pouvez facilement vous rendre à Naples et prendre un ferry pour Palerme (10 heures, départ le soir et arrivée tôt le matin).
